We continue to discuss the importance of racing films in Part Three of our discussion about cars and movies. After that we get into how cars can become a part of the cultural landscape through films such as “The Graduate” where Dustin Hoffman’s Alfa factors heavily. We also talk about some of the stranger films that feature cars such as the bizarre “Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” featuring some rather well-endowed road warriors. And, of course, we can’t complete our discussion without a nod to the automotive love letter that is Pixar’s “Cars.”

I hope you talk about Smokey and the bandit and Blues Brothers in the next Cars and Movie show, they are some of the most sold and best car movies. I also agree with them that “Cars” may be the overall best car movie ever, it was excellent!
