I love John Waters. He’s just so cool!
What a beautiful statement.
I once stood within three feet of him in a movie theater lobby where he made a personal appearance at a midnight showing of Pink Flamingos in my city. I wish I had more nerve, I would have spoken to him– just didn’t want to be a gushing fan, He is so great!
He seems cool and I do like his work.

I don’t like Waters’ work very much-Cry Baby was very good-but I like him very much as a person and a film commentator. He’s one of the most intelligent people making movies.He’s also one of the funniest.He’d be a great person to have over for a big,drunken dinner party. His take on Boom!is hilarious,and I wish I’d been there when he told Liz he loved the film.

The whole manson intrest is purely with some of the followers, not manson himself, hes curious as to how people who were pretty much of the same upbringing as him and his friends could go so wrong so tragically.. its not a fasicnation with the whole murder but the cult personality
I really respect what john has done he is very funny and talented. But I totally disagree with his support to the Manson family woman.

i’ve seen boom, many years ago and still regard it as a masterpiece. not in a “john waters” way but in “joseph losey fan” way. water’s remarks are insightful & personal and made see the movie in a different light. gotta luv that guy.
