Evolution is not trying to impose anything. Biological science is making discoveries and giving full disclosure.
There is no controversy. It is only in your head. There is no cabal of scientists saying “how can we thwart the creationists”. Creationism is the annoying mosquito that buzzes around our heads and when we swat it, it yells “YOU ARE SUPPRESSING OUR IDEAS” Why don’t you stick to theology so science can get on with the job of finding things out.
It truly pains me to not be able to give this video 1 lonely star. Well played, Sir.
LMFAO @ AtheistAntidote for failing so hard.
Seriously, does he SERIOUSLYl think “evolutionists” think the big bang created life on earth?
no wonder he removed ratings.
works for me? you have no idea. He works faster than medicine.
Glad it works for you – hope you guessed the right God.
and i’m glad that they hold that in their beliefs too! because if they didn’t and everyone converted to christianity then there would be none left to fulfill those prophecies. but from the view of a gentile and not being jewish, Yeshua is my only way
honestly man that’s speaking about end times right there. all of that stuff cannot take place until the church/bride is called up, at which point the jews will know for sure who the messiah is. i’ve done alot of reading into revalation and it always points to this conclusion. i would never want to evangelize the jewish i need them to stay jewish for these prophecies to be fulfilled
Sorry for this being two parts.
D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: “God will be King over all the world — on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One” (Zechariah 14:9).
The historical fact is that Jesus fulfilled none of these messianic prophecies.
Christians counter that Jesus will fulfill these in the Second Coming, but Jewish sources show that the Messiah will fulfill the prophecies outright,
Let’s start here:
1) JESUS DID NOT FULFILL THE MESSIANIC PROPHECIES
What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? The Bible says that he will:
A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).
B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).
C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)
then please present the evidence to disprove Yeshua as meesiah to help this theory along. you say wrote Jesus in to fit the prophecies are you implying He never existed?
Nope – this was just a discussion. One I’ve enjoyed I might add. I never said you were twisting words – what you’re doing is making Jesus fit words he doesn’t
It’s like the people who believe that Nostradamus predicted Hitler and the event of 9/11/2001 because they went back and found quatrains that could be interpreted to fit those events
The Gospel writers had a religion they needed people to buy into. Why is it so implausible that they researched the prophecies and wrote Jesus to fit them?
was debate not official when you claim i’m wrong? i think i’ve already finished it also, because you’ve just been a broken record the entire time saying i’m twisting words and then some stuff about apologetics
I can’t debate you yet – you haven’t brought up an argument. Here’s your chance.
What facts from evolution have you analyzed? All I have is your claim that you did so.
I’ve actually read them as I have read some of he apologists (notably Strobel, Craig and Zacharias) and the Bible. Have you or do you just like to name/title drop?
same turnout in every debate from what i’ve noticed..
i analyze the facts of evolution and lul..
you analyze the facts in the Word and cry “LIAR”
grow up, if you’re going to talk about objective viewpoints then how about you look into the research behind why people still believe “God did it” and not scan youtube for those people you keep talking about it and act crazy, but pick up a book with sources cited.. like strobel, he’s got quite a few books also
you say tweak because you have no good defense now, always making excuses saying “we’re twisting the verse to say what we want” LOL it says what it says guy and it says He stretched the heavens! the first chapter does not stand against me i just used it in the conversation… i don’t think you even know what you’re talking about fly the reason there is no proof that Yashua isn’t the messaih is because there is none! He is the messaih and all you can do now is deny it. you didn’t read his book
Why wouldn’t I consider Strobel’s works good apologetics? They do what they’re supposed to do which is defend the faith. My problem is that he presents his books as objective viewpoints. They’re not.
the reason I didn’t know that Big bang cosmology was in the Bible is because it’s not. You have to tweak it to make it fit. But I guess lying for your God isn’t a sin.
As for your contention that water came from god – the first chapter of Genesis stands against you. I thought you read the Bible.
just like Genesis says lol.
yes if you had read strobel you wouldn’t consider is “good apoogetics”.. keep sowing deceit to attempt to win debates, it’s funny and pathetic. something every atheists never wants to admit is that a “bible thumper” knew more than them in conversation. you say your research came from the bible excuse me while i lol at you not knowing about the big bang in it. o it’s also good to note water hasn’t always been on this planet too, and it just so happens that it was brought here.. divinely
I’ve read Strobel – good apologetics but lousy research. He didn’t look at both sides of the questions. It would be as if I told you I was writing an unbiased biography of you but only interviewed people who hated you and wanted you dead.
I’ll check my library for the other book. If I counted “Zeitgest” which I have yet to see) as research that would leave me at the level of research of Christians like NephillimFree and yourself.
A good portion of my research came from reading the Bible.
if you are unsure if there was a risen Christ then you should do your own research. a good book for you would be Lee Strobel’s “The Case For The Christ” and the jews are supposed to disagree, they have their place in the future doubting the messaih according to scripture a good book for that would be Brian McCollums “Breaking The Bread of Revalation” i can’t believe people dismiss this so fast without doing research… o wait do you count zeitgeist as research? lol
As I said, it’s not hard to claim Messianic prophecies are fulfilled when you have a character that you’d like to make the Messiah and package him to fit. Thank you for agreeing with my point.
Also, Jews would disagree with you on Jesus’ messiahship (you might have heard of them – they wrote the prophecies you are citing). If there were a Jesus (not sure), he’d disagree with you also.
the prophecies concerning the fulfillment of Yeshua are all found in Isaiah also. another person who fails to see the proof even after its put in his face. there’s no point in even talking to you
As I thought – mental gymnastics for big bang cosmology and plate tectonics. Feel free to find me the foundations of the earth too, OK? Just let me know when you find the pillars.
It’s amazing what you can find when you back track through scripture and try to shoehorn things to fit your conclusions.
They made an entire religion about a guy named Jesus they called the Messiah who didn’t fulfill any Messianic prophecies.
yes i actually was thinking about Isaiah 51:13, but that’s fine too
o no would i actually imply that God’s Word be taken serious on both accounts?
Yes i would serach the internet the earth is growing and used to be alot smaller, all continents used to be connected
You don’t mean Isaiah 42: 5 where God is described as stretching out the heavens? It also mentions him stretching out the earth – are you a flat earther also?
