There may or may not have been Scientology influences in the production of this movie. The original OT3 material, however, was a product of many hours of auditing. The real question is where did the idea for Flash Gordon come from? Why is it a common archetype/theme/plot? How is it that DUNE and STARS WARS share numerous common themes and ideas? Where do all ideas come from? How are they created?

I never really got into flash gordon as a child I watched a few episodes and remember reading some stories with a friend. Interesting video though.
