You are right. That comparison shows, how “cult expert” think, if we can call it “thinking” in the first place. I have never seen a follower of Rev Moon being a suicide bomber, and I wonder where the “expert” Benscoter finds any hint for such in Rev Moon’s teaching. I wonder what the brain structure of such “experts” looks like.

Obviously these days you can make money with spreading nonsense, pretending to be an “expert”. Thats just the way it is. Luckily smart people will not fall into this trap, but see through that nonsense.

this is utter nonsense. any individual can use the memetic argument for any religious ideology. The major point that bugs me is when she compares us to not only the hitler youth league and says that our kind of thinking can lead to suicide bombers. i am yet to hear of an instance in which Rev. Moon supported violence in any way shape or form.

I don’t see anything wrong with worshiping Rev. Moon, but I don’t agree with Mormons. I think Mormons, Catholics, Seventh Day Adventists, and Branch Davidians will burn in Hell; but Lutherans, Islamic Extremists and Quakers will go to heaven. It’s all very complicated. To all the young people out there, I suggest you study theology very carefully because one little mistake could lead to eternal damnation.

@kwraiks The Bible is clear. If people get off track then it’s not the Bible or G-d’s fault. It’s the fault of people. Most of the time people don’t want to actually study the Bible or teachings of Yeshua. They just want to sit in a service and have someone else tell them how things are. I stand by what I said.

Rev Moon is not Jim Jones. He is the Saviour of the whole world, not an idiot, as some try to portray him.

The reason people get deceived is because rather than reading the Bible,they listen to and look to people who are always fallible.
God had a plan when He created. He told Adam and Eve in Gen 1:28, but Lucifer who knew God’s plan, told them not to believe it, and to follow him in stead. Pity for us all. Then Jesus came, per God’s providence of restoration, and knew that if we could create the kingdom of love and peace on earth, we could also move it to the Spirit world. But, before he got a chance to give God’s plan or word, or blueprint for the ideal world, the people got rid of him, like they got rid of Socrates. hope.
God’s Word is the plan that God had to establish the Kingdom of love and peace on earth, and then in the Spirit world. Very simple. Lucifer knew it, and destroyed Adam and eve. Jesus knew it but could not get it out because of the disbelief of the people of his time. Rev. Moon knows the Word of God and has given it to the world, to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, and Faith in God and Jesus.
