Attack Of The Swamp Monster (The Project That Died)

We wanted to make a feature, so this was our first idea: A swamp monster is disovered, monster goes on rampage, monster is captured and can only be destroyed by crushing its head. However, as many reptiles do, it has a small brain and a virtually indestructible skull. Therefore, it can only be destroyed by (in B-movie terms of logic) by the atomic H. The film would seem to end like this, but minutes later, it is dicovered that the bomb has mutated the creature to giant proportions and has grown everal tentacles. It then proceeds to the city of Toronto, Ontario as the size of Godzilla and destroys several landmarks such as the CN Tower. Now that it is giant sized, it can only be destroyed by the army’s newest weapon: A giant robot! This was as much as we had figured out. I guess the idea was a weird salad of classic movies such as Bog, THEM, and classic Toho kaiju (giant monster) movies. Needles to say, it was never completed.

VERY NICE! Your Swamp Creature looks like a mix between one of the monsters in “The Horror of Party Beach” with the claws of “IT! Terror from beyond Space!”
