Ya know I’ve always wanted a Super Beta VCR . . . or hell, maybe even an ED-Beta, but they were always so pricey when I was looking for them. Does that one have S-Video outputs and inputs?

I remember the first video store my family used to rent movies from. They had a sizable Beta selection. We had a VHS VCR though, so they were just a novelty to me at the time.

Oh yeah, and the first time I saw “Dawn of the Dead” was on Beta at my cousin’s place. So yeah, I got a great respect for the format!

Yeah there seems to be an OOP dvd of Born Innocent which is fairly expensive. All formats are quite highly priced, well worth it though.

I think this Format was almost non-existing here in Germany. I never saw a Betamax-Player anywhere.

Is Born Innocent on DVD? Sounds and looks great.

Ahh the good old days! You got some awesome movies on Betamax, I the cover art on those they just don’t make them like that anymore! I think I have about 10-20 movies on Betamax but I’m not sure if my player still works. I still have to get my massive VHS collection out of my basement & do a video on them. Which I have been meaning to do for so long but part of the problem is I have no space for them right now. In the near future I will dig them out though. Anyway you got some great stuff Lori!

Heard of beta before but never seen them until now. Great videos and also beta movies too. I saw the baby is a weird movie but the ending will make you say WTF.

Wow that Halloween tape looks amazing! I think that Media release was from 1982. I believe the late 70s version was a MEDA release. I got an immaculate clamshell of the Media one, and after showing it on YT, have been offered a small fortune for it twice!
The back pic on The Day After is the front cover of ours.
Love looking at covers from elsewhere. Gosh those prices were steep!!
