I hope BU releases in the future are better on Blu. Dead and Buried was a great movie though. You guys are lucky the Gate is still in print over there.
Shadow builder did have some cheesy effects (The Shadowbuilder himself,etc.), but it was still an interesting watch.
I already wondered how BU was gonna do justice to Blu-Ray with such an old movie as Dead&Buried. The movie is fantastic indeed.
Glad to see you picked up The Gate for an alright price. Our German DVD is not OOP at all.
Sweet Sixteen always intruiged me, but it’s still a bit expensive. Great to see it in an update finally. Code Red makes great DVDs.
Read about Shadowbuilder in the Fangoria book too. The FX in the trailer look really cheesy and cheap though.
Yeah. It’s a weird little film. Glad I finally found a copy. I really want to find Gate 2.
Loved the movie Dead and Buried but the transfer on the Blu-Ray left something to be desired. I hope their future releases on Blu (Living Dead at Manchester Morgue, etc.) are better.
4.00 for the Gate is nice. But, yeah I was glad to find it all, let alone for $12. Thanks for looking, man!
Dead & Buried was a great film, I got mine on a blind buy for a good price so I got it and absolutely loved it. I was wondering how the Blue Underground Blu-ray releases was going to be. The Gate is another great film, I got lucky and got mine for $4 just before it went OOP, to me $12 is still a great price.

Cool stuff with Dead & Buried – too bad about the quality of the picture. Sole Survivor I haven’t seen, but the cover is very memorable. The Gate is heaps of fun, love that one. Sweet Sixteen I’ve been thinking about maybe getting. The new Ab DVD of Phenomena is great. The monkey is a beast lol. Shadowbuilder I’ve never heard of. I Spit on Your Grave I thought was actually quite good – way better than I expected. The Faculty I thought was okay. Pool monster was wicked
I love the Gate! I dont think ive ever seen the Gate 2. Im not sure. The Phenomena Monkey is the shit! I was the same with The Faculty! All the actors were Tommy Hilfiger models at the time. If you notice there is a shitload of Hilfiger stuff being worn in that movie!!! I really thought that was lame so i didnt give it a chance…But I watched it not too long ago and it is a pretty good movie!
Same here. I would have done better just picking up the standard DVD of Dead And Buried, but I’m just glad to have it. We’ll see how their (Blue Underground) future releases do!

Dead and Buried is indeed great. Blue Underground is bringing Living Dead at Manchester Morgue to Blu later this year. Let’s just hope the transfer is better on that one, haha…..

Yeah, man I figured the Gate 2 would be a little more rare as I’ve seen quite a few people with the first one but not the second. Sweet sixteen is a nice little murder mystery with kind of a twist at the end. Thanks, man!

The Gate is wicked , i got the dutch release of it & the Gate 2 is really rare , i managed to get the Canadian release of it and i think its a better film than the first. Sweet sixteen looks cool , i might purchase that one. The Faculty is very cool and made by one of my favorite directors RR.

Nice Dead & Buried on Blu-ray. They are starting to bring better titles to Blu-ray. Dead & Buried is a great film. Great deal on the Gate. A classic all the way. They had 2 verisons of the Gate…One came in a regular dvd case and the way you got it. I have the Dvd case version. You always have such great updates
The Faculty was one of the better films of the 90’s. Still need to get that on dvd..I have the old Vhs release. Hope you had a great 4th??

Nice find on The Gate. I got that when it first came out in that weird jewel case for really cheap. Then they came out in regular keep cases.
