Wells balanced between extremes such as utopian socialism as you say and anarchism. We all do by while i suppose. A government run by scientists and engineers, truth, but everyone knows all experts in law and juridical matter are silenced whenever politicians are defending the interest of lobbygroups.
“Anarchist”? You must be confusing H.G. Wells with someone else. Wells was a utopian socialist who believed in a world government run by scientists and engineers — a technocracy, if you will.
Again that “law” thing, the anarchist H.G.Wells is telling mankinds situation by using extreme symbols.
