Feb 2nd, 2010 by MrCult
Part 5 of 10 Journey behind closed doors into a secret world where faith and devotion lead to desperation and despair. From the bizarre prophecies of Charles Manson to the desperate paranoia of Jim Jones, cult leaders draw followers into worlds of power, paranoia, and death. Why do people join? Why do they stay? And how can we stop them? Through interviews with world-renowned scholars and the survivors of cultic tragedy, DANGEROUS DEVOTION unmasks the mystery of cults. Meet survivors of modern-day cults and true believers who still number among the faithful. Hear from mothers and fathers who have lost a child to a cult and observe FBI agents working to identify exploitative groups that endanger individuals or even the entire nation. And delve through history to examine how cults have seized hearts and minds throughout time. CULTS: DANGEROUS DEVOTION is a truly eye-opening examination of a world that few of us will ever see, but that potentially affects us all. Just some of the charismatic leaders and cults examined in DANGEROUS DEVOTION are: * Charles Manson * Jim Jones and Jonestown Warren Jeffs and the Yearning for Zion Ranch * Shoko Asahara and Aum Shinrikyo * David Koresh and the Branch Davidians * The Nizari, the drug-fueled assassins from the time of the Crusades

remind you of any other terrorist cults of today ???
4.55 billion years is a helluva long time to wait for an End to something. The end is near? We very well could have been Talking about it for a million years and it’s still total fucking bullshit. The end is far far to far so far away that it might as well have happened yesterday.
…. OK, lady. Goodbye for good.
Basically what you are doing is looking for things that fit you theory and disregarding anything that does not fit anything that you want the theory to be. This is typical of someone who is a conspiracy nut. And, really, spending my time trying to talk to you really isn’t worth it. So, until you are willing to see reality, don’t waster your time replying to me.
No, it was you who said, “Both 2012 and Illuminati are conspiracy theories,” so I was responding to the correct person.
I was looking at another person’s profile so I apologize for calling you a man. Also, I never said that world is going to end in 2012, that’s why I had “end times” in quotation marks. Like I said, it was merely a correction.
Also, I do believe this conversation was started by another person. I was not even the first to mention the Illuminati and 2012.
And this is “merely a correction”: 1. I don’t have a penis nor never have had one. Thus, I’m a FEMALE. 2. No prophecy has ever came true. It’s all a bunch of bs. And, I was merely stating that just like in biblical times, millennium, and numerous other times, “these prophecies” have not came true. Just because a calender ends doesn’t mean anything. Maybe the Mayans just never got around to making more calenders? The year 2012 means nothing.
Sir, those “end times” prophecies given by the Hopi and Maya NAs are much older than the Bible.
I’m sure hadn’t made my self clear, but I’d hope you got the message by me using quotation marks around “end times” that I’m NOT a follower of a religion.
It was merely a correction.
hate to break it to you BUT people predicted the world would end in biblical times as well. Oh and people predicted the world would end due to the millennium. Really, you have no argument because “end time” has mainly to do with religion. Religion is mostly an excuse to do evil.
The latest Bush president, I’m guessing.
2012 is not a conspiracy theory. Those are legitimate “end times” prophecies given by many different ancient peoples.
The best way to control human sheep is to use their natural propensity to paranoia and keep them occupied with digging nuclear shelters in their backyards, learning to “duck and cover” and stockpiling ammo and canned food. Let them talk about communist takeover, Illuminati, Annunaki, Mayan calendar, whatever – as long as it keeps their attention away from their masters taking away ther last remaining civil liberties.
People who do not believe their is an Illuminati when there is tons of proof are retards who deserve to be manipulated by them!!
No wonder humans have always been so easy to herd! SHEEPLE!
lmfao!!!
and who was that?
That Megiddo report unfortunately did not include a cult of believers in the return of a Jew executed by ancient Romans.
They believed he would bring the end to this world – they called it “rapture”.
A member of that cult became an American president who thought he was taking orders from the deity called “Jesus”.
Acting upon his believes he caused more death and destruction than all those puny doomsday cults combined.
Yeah. I seriously don’t get the logic behind these peoples beliefs.
Yea I know, and their’s a lot of people who believe in it.
Both 2012 and Illuminati are conspiracy theories.
Illuminati went out of existence long ago. They were pushed out by the Masons. Masons have no power. They lost it years ago. And, 2012 is not the end of the world. Mayan Calender ends, yes, but it was written years and years ago. Heck, people in the biblical times thought the world would end during that time. So many groups predicted the end of the world so many times. 2012 means nothing besides it’s another year.
This shits going to get nasty on 2012, you know those illuminati believers are nuts.
APOCALYPTICCANNON 14:4 For shall she putith her mouthith on my penis and suckith the penis, and then bounce on the penisith until the white gewy stuff comes out of the hole of all life.
Mark 13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Pause it at 3:29,
Trippy!!
sounds like the Gratefull Dead
