I don’t think the people applauding seem happy in a geniuine way, it’s more just creepy and stage-y and absolutely desperate, the Congressman obviously would target his speech to the audience and not emphasise his reservations about how it really seemed to him, calling their bluff and showing himself friendly enough for the defectors to reach out to him, which they subsequently did.

Visit a website called Alternative Considerations. It’s maintained mostly by Rebecca Moore & her husband. Rebecca Moore’s sister Carolyn Layton was Jim Jones’ long time mistress of 20 years. Rebecca Moore lost 2 sisters & a nephew at J-town.
Get the hang of navigating the site & you might find it addictive, as I did. Reading the stories of all the dead, you’ll understand the connections between them all. That’s the real story. Many of them were fine decent people.
@tlthe5th Have you seen “evidendence of revision” right here on youtube? it goes into this jones town nonsense in great detail, I always felt the CIA was bad , but not this bad, its hard to believe they are humans.
i don’t know what to think. my mind is totally numb. why havent i heard about this until now? i feel like more people should know about this, and if they do, why doesn’t anyone ever talk about it? I feel so sick right now and I can’t even begin to imagine how the CIA was connected to this. It doesn’t make sense and I cannot process any of this. I NEED ANSWERS!!!
