The riff that started it all! The best of the Road House Rifftrax. Disclaimer: Cocktail is the property of United Artist’s Pictures while the riffs are the property of Mike Nelson. @strawberryrobin
I think Mike’s reaction to it speaks for us all.
08:39 I did not just hear that line…
Just so you know, the DMCA regulations changed. I think if you cite the new rules, you may even be able to upload the “blocked” riffs.
“I can actually feel my IQ lowering as I watch this.” lol
Pain don’t hurt!

Incompetance to the rescue!
“OK, I have a standing $100 reward to anyone who can explode a beer bottle by throwing it into loose chicken wire.”
“Hey Healey, your hair is messy and your part’s crooked. What are you, blind?”
“That’s not passion – she’s getting granite burns on her ass.”
“Incompetence, to the rescue!”
William Kensington Asshole III XD
I just realized this movie is “Shane.”
haunting, yet bouncery
@MST3K1986 Those movies (except for Avatar) all seemed to stay on youtube for a long time. Youtube irritates me sometimes. It’s not like these best of videos are going to cut into those movie studios bottom line at all. In fact, these best of videos may cause people to go buy the rifftrax and then of course, buy the movie. Oh well. It just makes me mad.
@TheT4xid3rmist
From my own experience, there’s Avatar, Independence Day, The Room, The Happening, Star Trek V and Transformers 1. It really depends on the company and how well known the film, though sometimes it seems really random.
Do you happen to have a list of rifftrax that youtube won’t allow because of copyright? I can’t tell what’s off limits and what isn’t. THat’s why I’ve had like 4 videos removed.
@theNDinspector
This was actually the very first track Mike ever did for Rifftrax so he was still working on his his own then.
Obviously, Mike is better with other people, Kevin and Bill, to play off of, but this is still quite hillarious.
“Oh for crying out loud, I’ll show her how to dance sexy”
“Ah ha, Balanchine!
“Ah ha, Bob Fosse kick!”
“I used to fuck guys like you in prison” “What?! How is that an insult to me?!”
you are awsome for posting this
